As simple as it may sound, everything began with the search for the perfect hair clip.

Broken tips and peeling paint everywhere - in my bag, in my backpack, and in my hair. This was my daily reality. Sure, nothing lasts forever, but why couldn't these things last longer? The thought of all the plastic waste I was producing with my hair accessories wouldn't leave my mind.

Since there's a little detective in me, I set out to find these beautiful things that would tame, shape, and adorn my hair - this time in better quality and, above all, sustainably. It wasn't easy, but I found them.

In the process, I discovered more than just the ideal hair clip. Fascinated and surprised, I dove into the complex topic of sustainability. I learned about sustainable materials - those whose production doesn't pollute water or air, and those that nature simply gives us. I read about manufacturing processes and the challenges of future-proof production. I also learned about fair conditions that artisans want to work under, and about brands, manufacturers, and family businesses that tackle the challenge of sustainability in inspiring ways.

That's how the idea of a different kind of online shop was born – one that's passionate about the interplay of design and responsibility. And because I have a fondness for accessories - these small things with big impact - I founded an online boutique for accessories. At Joval Elements, you'll discover accessories that spice up your outfit, transform it, or simply make your look more interesting. They're durable and fairly produced. Since it's easy to get lost in the jungle of certifications and sustainable solutions, we search and test products for you. Behind JoVal Elements are Claudia and Jonas. The name is a combination of our names, while "Elements" reminds us of the natural elements. And we dream of one day producing products under our JoVal Elements brand.

We love the combination of design, sustainability, and fairness, and we find brands and producers who share these values. Before we add a product to our range, we conduct thorough research. We're interested in sustainable solutions: the materials used, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, and fair production conditions in our product range.

We pay attention to durability, functionality, and of course, whether products deliver what they promise.
